Virtual Panel Discussion April 7 will Feature WIU Alumni

MACOMB, IL – The Western Illinois University Office of Student Engagement and the Leading 'Necks will host a virtual alumni panel discussion at 6 p.m. Thursday, April 7 on Zoom.

The virtual event can be found at wiu.zoom.us/j/98329037259.

This panel includes:

Vanessa Schulenberg received her bachelor's degree in special education in 2016 and her master's degree in educational studies in 2020. Schulenberg is a high school math and vocational special education teacher at Sherrard High School. At WIU, she was a member of Delta Zeta and Dance Marathon.

Michael Mueller received his bachelor's degree in law enforcement and justice administration in 2017. Mueller, a Macomb native, is a District 14 Illinois State Police trooper. At WIU, he was a second lieutenant with WIU EMS, was a member of student patrol and student dispatch and was a captain with the Macomb Police Explorer.

Jenny Ring received her bachelor's degree in agricultural science in 2015. She is a media relations manager at Rooster Strategic Solutions. At WIU, she was a member of AgVocators, the Collegiate Farm Bureau, Hoof 'n' Horn, CFFA/Ag Ed and the Ag Council.

Aaron Terrile received his bachelor's degree in political science in 2017. He is a realtor for Florida Homes Realty and Mortgage. At WIU, he was a member of Pi Kappa Phi, the Greek Week Committee, Dance Marathon/RockyTHON, the Student Government Association, Model Illinois Government, WIU Mock Election, the Union Advisory Board, Corbin/Olson Hall Government and was a desk assistant.

Julianna Kessler received her bachelor's degree in speech pathology and audiology in 2020. At WIU, she was a member of Phi Sigma Sigma, Dance Marathon/RockyTHON, Order of Omega and the Union Advisory Board.
