Virtual Science Saturday Hosted May 7

MACOMB, IL - The Western Illinois University Department of Physics will host episode 11 of its Virtual Science Saturday, "All About Birds" from 10-11 a.m. May 7.

This session will include a discussion of physiological adaptations for flight, amazing migratory feats, bird brains, extravagant colors and mate attraction, and alternative breeding strategies, including species that force other birds to raise their young.

This event will be led by WIU Physics Chair Kishor T. Kapale and WIU Biological Sciences Professor Brian Peer.

Virtual Science Saturday is open to anyone and can be joined at bit.ly/WIUScienceSaturday.
