Hanson Scholarship Recipients

MACOMB, IL -- Area nurses pursuing academic coursework at Western Illinois University have been awarded scholarships through the Dorothy R. Hanson endowment.
Established through the Western Illinois University Foundation in 1980, the awards are made to registered nurses who reside in or practice their professional skills in McDonough County and who attend classes at Western.
Recipients of the scholarship for Summer 2003 are Patricia L. Smith of Bushnell and Jill R.Thompson of Sciota.
Applications (new or renewals) for Fall 2003 are due July 1, and should be sent to the department of Community Health and Health Services Management, Stipes Hall 402, Western Illinois University, 1 University Circle, Macomb, IL 61455-1390. Inquiries regarding application forms may be made by calling the department at 309/298-1076.
