WIU in Collaboration With Local Quad Cities Institutes to Host Career Fair Feb. 28

MACOMB/MOLINE, IL – The Western Illinois University Career Center will host a Quad Cities College Career fair, in conjunction with Augustana College, St. Ambrose University, Blackhawk College and Scott Community Colleges, from 1-4 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 28 at The Vibrant Arena at The Mark.

"This joint effort by the QC area colleges and universities provides the perfect setting for students and grads to make connections with employers to find internship and career opportunities that are a good fit for them and allows the organizations to meet with talent from multiple schools in one place," said Center for Career Preparation and Employer Engagement Director Audrey Adamson.

The event is open to all students and alumni of the sponsoring schools, or other community members who are college graduates or currently in a degree program. More than 100 employers from the Quad Cities area are expected to be in attendance, including Kone, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, MidAmerican Energy, Ascentra Credit Union, the city of Moline, the city of Davenport, Modern Woodmen, I-80 Group, Rhythm City, Vibrant, Von Maur and more.
