Study Abroad in Austria During Fall 2023 Semester

MACOMB, IL – Western Illinois University Anthropology Professor Heather McIlvaine-Newsad will host a study abroad trip to Austria during the Fall 2023 semester.

The trip, which will run from Dec. 31-Jan. 10, will visit Vienna and Salzburg. The course gives students the opportunity to learn more about Austria's role in the history and culture of the Alps, and about life in the country.

Three information sessions are planned so potential students can learn more about the trip. Sessions will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 23; 2 p.m. Thursday, March 2; and 2 p.m. Thursday, March 23, all in Morgan Hall, room 322. A Zoom option for each meeting is also available.
