LEJA Day March 21 at WIU

MACOMB, IL – The Western Illinois University School of Law Enforcement and Justice Administration will host LEJA Day from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Tuesday, March 21 in the University Union. The event is open to high school students interested in careers in criminal justice, emergency management and fire science.

The event gives students an opportunity to explore demonstrations of the academic offerings available through the School of LEJA at WIU.

Each session lasts 45 minutes and activities will include blood spatter analysis, search and rescue and thermal imaging, fingerprinting, terrorist target prioritizing, paramedic and EMT demonstrations, live burn patterns and flows, canine, drone and polygraph demonstrations, detecting deception and behavioral analysis, accident reconstruction and crime scene processing.

Sessions will be held in the University Union Grand Ballroom and in other rooms on that same floor.
