Wynn-Foster Named Associate Director for Admissions

MACOMB, IL - - Western Illinois University Admissions Counselor Ries Wynn-Foster has been named associate director for Admissions effective June 1.

Wynn-Foster has been an undergraduate admission counselor at WIU since 2022. Previously, he was a graduate assistant as an athletic academic advisor at WIU.

"I am looking forward to this great opportunity to continue to make an impact on students here at WIU and beyond'," said Wynn-Foster.

Wynn-Foster is a graduate of WIU, where he earned his bachelor's degree in Communication in 2020. He also pursued his passion for sports by obtaining a master's degree in Sport Management in 2022. When he's not busy with work, you can find Wynn-Foster hanging out in various areas of Macomb or exploring the beautiful lakes of Illinois.

"I am thrilled to welcome Ries as an associate director," said Undergraduate Admissions and Enrollment Services Director Doug Freed. "His enthusiasm and determination will serve the Undergraduate Admissions office and the University well."
