WIU School of Management & Marketing & AFED to Host "Ice Cream Social" Aug. 31

MACOMB, IL - - The Western Illinois University School of Management and Marketing, in collaboration with the School of Accounting, Finance, Economics and Decision Sciences (AFED), will host an "Ice Cream Social" for all business students from 1-3 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 31 on the Stipes lawn in Macomb.

"This social is a time for students to interact with one another, make new connections and meet their business faculty. Some of the business-oriented student organizations will also be in attendance, such as Marketing Club, Finance Club and Women in Business," WIU Business Communication Instructor Michelle Howe said.

During the welcome event, students can learn about the department and University resources, discuss ways to participate on campus and get answers to questions about upcoming events and their college experience.
