WIU-QC to Host English Social Mixer Sept. 21

MOLINE, IL - The Western Illinois University English Department invites all English majors and minors to attend a social mixer at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 21 in the Quad Cities Complex, room 2214.

WIU English Professors Everett Hamner and Daniel Malachuk welcome students curious about English or literature at WIU to enjoy pizza and discuss upcoming English course offerings.

This mingle event is a great opportunity for students to get to know faculty and fellow English students by discussing topics in English or hear degree plan advice for planning graduation tracks. Hamner and Malachuk intend to discuss with students the broad range of professional possibilities through WIU's English program, and students should be open minded to the various careers available.
