WIU Alumna Brittany Richmond Publishes First Book

MACOMB, IL - - Western Illinois University's Psychology Alumna, Brittany Richmond, recently released a book titled "Lies My Anxiety Has Told Me: Going from ‘Suffering From' to ‘Living With' Anxiety."

The preface includes:

No one loves me, no one understands me, I am not in control, I am not good enough and I am a failure. These are just a few of the lies our anxiety tells us, lies that bring us down. Lies that make us think, Why are things so easy for everyone else but so hard for me? The Teen Mental Health Speaker & Anxiety Expert Brittany Richmond knows this cycle all too well. In her new book, she shares her personal experiences with anxiety and the lessons and strategies she's learned along the way that have helped thousands of people move from suffering to living with their anxiety. "I wrote the book for the sole purpose of letting young people know they were not alone.
