MACOMB, IL - -Western Illinois University is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2025 Provost's Awards in Academic Excellence. These awards recognize outstanding contributions in teaching, scholarship, service, advising and campus engagement. Please join us in congratulating this year's honorees:

2025 Academic Excellence Recipients
Provost's Award for Academic Excellence in Multicultural Teaching:
Alisha White, Department of English (CAS).

Provost's Award for Academic Excellence in University and Community Service:
Honey Zimmerman, Department of Supply Chain Management (CBT).

Provost's Award for Academic Excellence in Enhancing Learning with Technology:
Lu Lu, Department of Accounting (CBT).

Provost's Award for Academic Excellence in Scholarly/Creative/Performing/Professional Activities: Tae Yang, Department of Management (CBT).

Provost's Award for Academic Excellence in Teaching: Susan Stewart, Department of Human Resource Management (CBT).

Provost's Award for Academic Excellence in Internationalizing the Campus:
Mohammad Shamsuddoha, Department of Supply Chain Management (CBT).

Outstanding Academic Advisor
Provost's Award for Academic Excellence for Outstanding Academic Advisor:
Lisa Melz-Jennings, Academic Success coach and tutor coordinator, Student Learning Center.
