Fall 2003 Graduates

More than 1,000 students earned degrees after the 2003 fall semester at Western Illinois University, a four-year public university with an enrollment of more than 13,000, located in west-central Illinois.
Bachelors degrees were awarded to more than 800 students; including 90 students who earned the WIU Board of Trustees-Bachelor of Arts degree (BOT-BA), which is designed for adult students who are placebound by work or family responsibilities. Masters degrees and post-baccalaureate certificates were awarded to more than 180 students.
Academic distinction was awarded to undergraduate students who achieved high grade point averages. This includes: Summa Cum Laude, 3.90 GPA or higher on a 4.0 scale; Magna Cum Laude, 3.75 to 3.89 GPA; and Cum Laude, 3.6 to 3.74 GPA.
