Spring Math Extravaganza April 16

MACOMB, IL - - Nearly 150 fifth-grade students from area schools will participate in the Western Illinois University mathematic departmentÂ’s Spring Math Extravaganza from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday, April 16.
Western upperclass mathematics education students will present exciting math lessons to students from Carthage, MacombÂ’s St. Paul School, VIT and Roseville. Lessons will include technology, problem-solving, math trails and explorations as well as hands-on and minds-on activities.
