WIU Offers Workshop on Starting or Expanding a Small Business

MACOMB, IL - - Individuals interested in starting or expanding a business can gain valuable information through a four-part workshop series through the Western Illinois University Center for Management and Professional Development (CMPD) during October.
Dan Voorhis, director of Westerns Small Business Development Center, will teach the Starting or Expanding a Small Business workshops, scheduled for 6-9 p.m. Thursdays, Oct. 7, 14, 21 and 28 in Stipes Hall 506 on Westerns Macomb campus.
Session information will include strategies for building a winning image, dealing with government regulations, business planning and financing.
