WIU Professor to Present African-American Imprints in Venezuela's Devil Dancers

MACOMB, IL - - Ivan Jimenez-Williams, an assistant professor in Western Illinois University’s foreign languages and literatures department, will present “African-American Imprints in Venezuela’s Devil Dances” at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 30 in Stipes Hall 121.

The discussion, which is open free to the public, is part of Western Illinois’ Indigenous Africa and Diaspora Discourse Project (IAADP) presented by the African American Studies department. Co-sponsors include the department of foreign languages and literatures.
