History Department To Offer Proficiency Exams Sept. 6

MACOMB, IL - - The Western Illinois University department of history will administer proficiency examinations from 2-4 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 6 in Morgan Hall 453. Application forms are available in the history department office, Morgan Hall 438, and the registrars office, Sherman Hall 110. The forms must be returned to the registrars office prior to taking the examination. Students may take only one proficiency test per semester.
Examinations will be given in Western Civilization 125, 126 and American History 105, 106. Students may register to take a proficiency examination for only one of these courses.
