WIU Hosts Architecture and Engineering Open House

MACOMB, IL - - Western Illinois UniversityÂ’s physics department will host an open house for prospective students and their parents from 10:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 12 in Currens Hall 205.

The open house will highlight options available to students enrolling in WesternÂ’s dual degree physics/math and engineering programs as well as the pre-architecture program. The event will include speakers from the pre-engineering program at Western, representatives from the engineering program at Southern Illinois University at Carbondale and a question and answer session with Western pre-engineering alumni.

While reservations are not required, visitors are asked to inform the physics department in advance of an approximate number in each party. Lunch will be provided. Participants can also purchase discounted tickets for the 1:05 p.m. Western Illinois Fighting Leathernecks football game against Missouri State.
