Biological Sciences Symposium April 7

MACOMB, IL - - Western Illinois University’s department of biological sciences will host the fourth annual Biological Sciences Student Research Symposium from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday, April 7 in Waggoner Hall.

The symposium will include two paper sessions from 8-9:30 a.m. and 11-11:30 a.m. in Waggoner Hall 378. A poster session will be held from 9:30-11 a.m. in the second floor corridor and Waggoner Hall 271 followed by an awards ceremony at 11:30 a.m. in Waggoner Hall 378.

Zhiwei Liu, assistant biology professor at Eastern Illinois University will present the keynote lecture “The Origins and Evolution of Herbivory Within the Parasitic Cynipoid Wasps,” at noon in Waggoner Hall 378.
