Name Summer 2006 Hanson Nursing Scholarship Recipient

MACOMB, IL - - Marsha Weaver of Colchester has been awarded a Summer 2006 scholarship at Western Illinois University through the Dorothy Hanson endowment.
The scholarship award is available to area nurses pursuing academic coursework at Western. Established through the Western Illinois University Foundation in 1980, the awards are given to registered nurses who reside in or practice their professional skills in McDonough County and who attend classes at Western.
Applications (new or renewals) for Fall 2006 semester are due July 1, and should be sent to the Department of Health Sciences, Stipes Hall 402, WIU, 1 University Circle, Macomb, IL 61455-1390. Inquiries regarding application forms may be made by calling the department at 309/298-1076.
