MACOMB, IL -- Western Illinois University students, faculty and staff interested in investing their time and talents for children this summer are encouraged to attend the 36th Annual Summer Camp Job Fair Thursday, Feb. 1 on the WIU-Macomb campus.

Sponsored by Western's recreation, park and tourism administration (RPTA) department, the Summer Camp Job Fair, which will be held from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. in the University Union Grand Ballroom, will feature representatives from various camps from around the United States.

Summer camp representatives will also visit various classrooms Tuesday-Thursday, Jan. 30-Feb. 1 to discuss employment opportunities available at their respective camps. Interested professors should contact the RPTA department at 298-2026.

"There are tremendous opportunities available at camps throughout the United States. Not only will those who work at the camps gain further recreation-related experience, they can make a difference in the lives of many children," said RPTA Chair Dale Adkins.
