MACOMB, IL -- If the winter doldrums are setting in and you just can't take one more night of reality television, then do something for YOU for a change!

Beginning Thursday, Feb. 22, Western Illinois University's Horn Field Campus will host "Tonight's For Me," a new monthly program that allows women -- and men -- to get out of the house and do something for themselves.

According to Horn Field Campus Program Director Mindy Harpman, the program will offer a place for casual conversation and fun learning activities. For the Feb. 22 program, Harpman will facilitate a discussion based on suggestions from the book, "Eat Mangoes Naked -- Finding Pleasure Everywhere and Dancing with the Pits" by Sark.

"This is a great way to get out of the house, meet other people and maybe learn something new," Harpman added. "Please don't feel you have to read the book or come prepared with a topic. I've designed 'Tonight's for Me' to be just that -- a night that you decide what to do and what to talk about."

"Tonight's for Me" begins at 7 p.m. and will be held in Horn's main lodge. The event is open free to the public, ages 18 and over.

Other programs will be held Thursdays, March 22, April 19 and May 17. For more information, contact Harpman at 309/833-5798 or visit www.wiu.edu/hornfield.

Horn Field Campus is located south of Macomb on China Road. From South Johnson Street (past Macomb High School), turn right on China Road and follow the road one-quarter of a mile to the Horn Field Campus entrance.
