MACOMB, IL -- Representatives from Apple will simulate a college classroom integrating such technologies as iPhone, iTunes, Apple TV and more during the 2007 Western Illinois University's College of Education and Human Services Tech Fest Wednesday, March 21.

The session will begin at 2 p.m. in Horrabin Hall 1, with the simulation being held from
2-3 p.m. followed by a question-and-answer session. Presenters include Morrie Reece, Apple senior education development executive, and Peter Meng, Apple higher education account executive.

"Technology continues to change rapidly and is omnipresent in our lives from pre-school through higher education and on to the workplace. Morrie Reece's presentation will demonstrate how faculty and students in a university setting can integrate cutting-edge technologies into the curriculum to engage the learner," said Rodney Greer, College of Education and Human Services assistant to the dean. "This demonstration will be of interest to individuals concerned with education, as well as those who are interested in seeing how technology and its use continues to change."
