Horn Field to Host Art Exhibit

MACOMB, IL -- Western Illinois University's Horn Field Campus will host an environmental- and nature-based art show at Horn Monday, April 9 through Thursday,
April 19.

Artists wishing to exhibit their work(s) should contact Caryn Elm, Horn Field Campus graduate assistant, at 309/833-5798 or cm-elm@wiu.edu. Artwork must have an environmental or outdoors theme, and two-dimensional work must be mounted on foamcore. Artists may submit a maximum of three pieces in each category (two-dimensional and three-dimensional). Deadline for submissions is Thursday, April 5.

Judging will take place Friday, April 6, with cash awards being given to first place recipients in both categories. The Monday, April 9 exhibit opening will be held from 4-6 p.m., with an awards ceremony to begin at 5 p.m. Tuesday, April 10 through Thursday, April 19 gallery hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Horn Field Campus is located south of Macomb on China Road. From South Johnson Street (past Macomb High School), turn right on China Road and follow the road one-quarter of a mile to the Horn Field Campus entrance.
