"From Russia With Love" Concert February 4

MACOMB, IL - - Western Illinois University's Bureau of Cultural Affairs (BCA) will present "From Russia with Love," a family-friendly concert, at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 4 in the College of Fine Arts and Communication (COFAC) Recital Hall, located in Simpkins Hall.
The concert will feature the classic "Peter and the Wolf" by Sergei Prokovfiev, which will be performed by Western's faculty ensemble, the Camerata Woodwind Quintet, and narrated by Lynn Thompson, assistant professor of music. Also featured will be "Three Romances" by Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky performed by voice Professor Marietta Dean, mezzo-soprano; and "Sextet in E-Flat Minor, Opus. 30" by Oskar Boehme, performed by the faculty ensemble, the Lamoine Brass Quintet.
Tickets for this performance, $10 for the public and free for WIU students, are available at the Hainline Theatre Box Office, located on Western Ave., from noon-5 p.m. weekdays, telephone (309) 298-2900. Tickets may also be purchased at wiuartstickets.com. A service fee will be added to the price of each ticket at the time of purchase.
