RPTA to Host Annual Summer Camp Job Fair Feb. 5 in Union

MACOMB, IL -- There's no time like the present to start making summer job plans, and Western Illinois University's recreation, park and tourism administration department can help get that process underway through its annual Summer Camp Job Fair (SCJF).
RPTA's 38th SCJF will be held from 10 a.m.-4 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 5 in the University Union Grand Ballroom. More than 35 camps from across the country will be on campus looking for summer staff. Representatives from special needs camps, religious camps, scout camps, day camps and overnight camps will be on hand to answer questions and provide interested individuals with information. Interested students are encouraged to bring a résumé, as some hiring and interviewing will be done on site during the job fair.
In addition to the job fair, summer camp representatives will make classroom visits Wednesday, Feb. 4 and Thursday, Feb. 5 to promote the fair and camp professions.
