MACOMB, IL -- Soon-to-be brides will have the opportunity to peruse many affordable bridal gown options at the Bridal Fashion Show and Sale sponsored by a fashion merchandising class, offered through Western Illinois University's dietetics, fashion merchandising and hospitality (DFMH) department, and the Western Area Career System. Scheduled for 1–3 p.m. Saturday, April 18 in Knoblauch Hall 239, the event will kick off with a fashion show at 1 p.m., and the bridal dress sale will follow.

All wedding dresses at the event will cost $150; all sales are final and only cash or check will be accepted. In addition to the sale, refreshments will be served, goodie bags will be given away and door prizes will be given out to those who register and win. The Bridal Fashion Show and Sale is open free to the public.

All proceeds will benefit the Western Area Career System, a Macomb-based program that supports local programs, provides career development activities for students and facilitates staff development opportunities for teachers.
