Speaker to give advice on 'Winning the Money Game'

Macomb, IL -- The Western Illinois University chapter of Delta Sigma Pi, a professional business fraternity, will sponsor speaker Adam Carroll, co-author of the book "Winning the Money Game: A Financial Rule Book for Young People" at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 1 in the Union Grand Ballroom.

While the event is geared toward a college audience, it is open free to the public. Carroll will speak on "simple rules to winning the game we all play with money," including developing an ongoing savings plan and understanding needs versus wants.

Carroll, a University of Northern Iowa graduate and member of American Mensa, founded National Financial Educators in Des Moines, (IA), in 2004, and has delivered programs to students across the country. He has been featured in national magazines such as Consumer Reports and Woman's Day on topics of financial literacy.
