Tickets Available for Cannon Firing Raffle

MACOMB, IL - - Would you like to have a chance to fire the cannon for one of the Leathernecks' football games this season?
Help support Western Illinois University's Army ROTC program by purchasing cannon firing raffle tickets. The cannon firing will take place during WIU's Homecoming game Saturday, Sept. 25. The Leathernecks host Indiana State and kickoff is at 3 p.m.
Three winners will have the chance to fire the cannon: once as the Leathernecks enter the field, during the opening kickoff and at the beginning of the second half. The drawing is Thursday, Sept. 23. All proceeds benefit WIU's Army ROTC community service projects and events. Winners will be contacted by phone.
Tickets are one for $1, six for $5 or 14 for $10. Tickets can be purchased from cadets or by calling the ROTC office at (309) 298-1161 or visiting the office located in Horrabin Hall Room 103.
