Staff at WIU's Horn Field Campus have once again created the popular corn maze, which will be open from 1-4 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday in October, with the exception of Sunday, Oct. 30. This year there are also five Flashlight Night corn maze events (8-10 p.m. Oct. 1, 8, 21, 22 and 28), and the annual Haunted Corn Maze is scheduled for 8-11 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29.

MACOMB, IL - - Come out to Western Illinois University's Horn Field Campus (HFC) this October and refine the art of getting lost… in HFC's signature corn maze!

Staff members at WIU's Horn Field Campus have once again created the popular corn maze, which will be open from 1-4 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday in October, with the exception of Sunday, Oct. 30.

This year, HFC staff members have added more of the popular "Flashlight Night" events. They are scheduled for:

  • 8-10 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1
  • 8-10 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 8
  • 8-10 p.m. Friday, Oct. 21
  • 8-10 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22
  • 8-10 p.m. Friday, Oct. 28

(Individuals attending the Flashlight Night events will need to bring their own flashlights.)

And what would October be without HFC's Haunted Corn Maze? Don't worry! You won't have to find out. This year's Haunted Corn Maze is slated for 8–11 p.m. Saturday, October 29.

Admission cost for each corn maze event for those who are 13 and older, as well for the Flashlight Night and the Haunted Corn Maze events, is $5 per person. For children ages 6-12 admission to each daytime corn maze event is $2 per person; for children ages 5 and under, admission is free. (Cost per person for groups of 15 or more is $2.) Individuals under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Directions to WIU's Horn Field Campus

HFC is located south of Macomb on China Road. From South Johnson Street (past Macomb High School), turn right on China Road and follow the road one-quarter of a mile to the Horn Field Campus entrance. Parking is permitted on the HFC lot.
