Submit to the Leland Essay Contest!
The Leland Essay Contest was established by Bruce H. Leland in 2002 to recognize the best writers in the Western Writing Program. All students in ENG 100, 180, 280, and GH 101 are eligible to enter one essay OR multimodal project per (successfully completed) course. Each course level contest winner is published online in Western Voices and receives a monetary prize: $150 for first place, $100 for second place, and $50 for third place.
