  • Vin Auger, political science, presented "Norm Consolidation and Resistance: The Responsibility to Protect" at the International Studies Association Midwest Conference Nov. 5-7, 2010 held in St. Louis, (MO). Auger also served as chair and discussant for the panel "Initiation and Escalation of Conflict."
  • Kathy Barclay, curriculum and instruction, presented "Traveling the Neural Superhighway: Brain-based Early Reading Instruction" at the Wisconsin Education Association's State Conference, Oct. 29 in Madison (WI). She was also consulted as an expert for the WebMD article "Reading, Writing, and Math Skills for Preschoolers: How To Make Learning Fun and Help Prepare Your Child for Kindergarten."
  • Nicholas Pano, history emeritus, presented "Albania, December 1990: Promise and Fulfillment" at the International Symposium, Twenty Years After: Rethinking State and Democracy in Albania in Tirana, Albania.
