Knoblauch Café Menu: Remainder of Fall Semester

MACOMB, IL - -Knoblauch Café has re-opened to serve nutritional lunch fare to the Western Illinois University community. Organized and run by students in the dietetics, fashion merchandising and hospitality (DFMH) department, Knoblauch Café provides them with a hands-on experience with running a foodservice facility. The cafe is located in Knoblauch Hall, room 239.

Knoblauch Café is open 11:30 a.m.-12:45 p.m. every Tuesday and Thursday through Thursday, Nov. 29 (with the exception of Tuesday, Nov. 20 and Thursday, Nov. 22 during Thanksgiving break). Cost for a meal is $7 (includes beverage and dessert). Carry outs are available and delivery is available in Knoblauch Hall.

herbed pork tenderloin/vegetable stuffed portobello mushroom, twice baked potato, roasted cauliflower, angel food cake topped with toffee bits and whipped cream

Tuesday, Oct. 9
Hawaiian burger (topped with pineapple, lettuce, tomato, red onion, served with a red pepper sauce)/portobello mushroom burger, baked sweet potato fries, java cupcakes

Thursday, Oct. 11
baked tilapia/spinach quiche, hashbrown cheesy potatoes, mixed vegetables, ice cream cupcakes

BLT spinach wrap/veggie wrap, broccoli cheese soup, chocolate layer torte

taco bowl (available with boca crumble), chocolate molten cake

cheese tortellini with tomato cream sauce, mixed green salad, garlic Texas toast
