Ashlee Mack at Western April 9

MACOMB, IL - - Pianist Ashlee Mack will perform a guest recital at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 9 in the College of Fine Arts and Communication (COFAC) Recital Hall.

Mack will perform "Lake Sonata," by David Maki, "three pieces from banff," by Frank Felice, "green is passing," by Jeff Herriott, "Allometry Sketches II," by WIU Professor James Romig, "Constellation Mobile," by WIU Professor Paul Paccione and "Petites esquisses d'oiseaux," by Olivier Messiaen.

Mack is a piano instructor and accompanist at Knox College (Galesburg, IL). She performs solo and chamber literature in recitals and master classes and with new music organizations including the Society for Chromatic Art (New York City, Princeton), Vox Novus (New York City, Brooklyn) and the Iowa Composers Forum. She earned her degree in piano performance from Bucknell University and received advanced training with Michael Adcock (Washington, D.C.) and Alan Huckleberry (University of Iowa).
