Pension Presentation to Air on UTV

MACOMB, IL -- The March 19 pension and budget discussion featuring Ralph Martire, executive director of the Center for Tax and Budget Accountability (CTBA), will air on University Television cable Channel 3 (Comcast subscribers; Channel 9, MTC subscribers) throughout the month of April.

The recorded program will air at 6:50 a.m. Wednesday, April 3; 1 p.m. Friday, April 5; 4 p.m. Sunday, April 7; 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 9; 9 a.m. Thursday, April 11; and 11 a.m. Saturday, April 13.

In the presentation, which was sponsored by the WIU chapter of University Professionals of Illinois (UPI, Martire discussed the current pension and budget challenges in the state of Illinois. The CTBA works to identify, develop and introduce into the public debate non-partisan, data-driven analysis and equitable public policy recommendations.
