WIU Bass Open Tournament Planned for April 13

MACOMB, IL – The Western Illinois University Bass Fishing Team will host the WIU Bass Open on the Mississippi River Saturday, April 13.
The tournament, held on the south launch of Mississippi River Pool 19 in Burlington, IA, begins with check-in from 6:30 – 7:30 a.m. and fishing from 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. The final weigh-in begins at 3:30 p.m.
There is a $500 prize for first place and an 80 percent payout and prizes from event sponsors. Money raised through the event benefits the WIU Bass Fishing Team.
