Community Music Day to be Held at WIU April 20

MACOMB, IL – The Western Illinois University student chapter of the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA) will host Community Music Day on Saturday, April 20, in Browne Hall on the Macomb campus.

The event, which runs from 1 – 3 p.m., is for children in third through fifth grades. A $5 donation is suggested.

Children will be able to participate in a variety of sessions, including "Try Any Instrument," "Drums, Drums, Drums," "Ukulele Power" and "Music in Motion."

Registration begins at 12:30 p.m. in the Browne Hall lobby.

For more information, or to register, email musicteachers.westernillinois@gmail.com by 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 19. No musical experience is necessary to attend.
