WIU Night at the Burlington Bees Baseball Game Aug. 13

EDITOR'S NOTE: The Aug. 13 Burlington Bees event is sponsored by the WIU Alumni Association. The July 26 event at the stadium is hosted by the Bees and is designed as a night at the ballpark for residents of the west central Illinois region.
MACOMB, IL — Western Illinois University alumni and friends are invited to join President Jack Thomas and Alumni Director Amy Spelman for a night of food, fun and baseball Wednesday, Aug. 13 when the Burlington Bees take on the Peoria Chiefs at 6:30 p.m. at the Burlington Bees Community Field in Burlington, IA.
The WIU Alumni Association will host an alumni event, WIU Night at the Burlington Bees, on the Budweiser Party Deck for Western alumni and their friends and family. Adult tickets (ages 15 and older) are $14 per person; youth tickets (ages 14 and under) are $12 per person. Tickets include a game ticket and food vouchers for two sandwiches, Sterzing's chips and a 20 oz. Pepsi product. Gates open and the picnic begins at 5:30 p.m.
WIU 2013 alumnus Brian Loconsole is a pitcher for the Bees and recently was named the Midwest Pitcher of the Week for June 6.
