MACOMB, IL – Surprise friends and family this holiday season with a gift that literally pops with local flavor and school spirit! Rocky Purple and Gold Popcorn, produced on Western Illinois University's Allison Organic Research and Demonstration Farm, is the perfect stocking stuffer.

According to Joel Gruver, assistant professor and director of Western's Organic Research Program, Rocky Popcorn is available in half-pound plastic bags ($2/bag or $10/6) and microwaveable bags ($1/bag, a special price) in the School of Agriculture office in Knoblauch Hall 145 on the WIU-Macomb campus. The WIU School of Ag office is open 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday through Friday, Dec. 19.
