Curriculum and Instruction Dept. in The Best Schools' "20 Best Online Master of Elementary Ed Degree Programs" List

MACOMB, IL — Western Illinois University's Department of Curriculum and Instruction has been named one of "The 20 Best Online Master in Elementary Education Degree Programs" by The Best Schools.
According to The Best Schools' website, the organization is "a leading resource for campus and online education" and "provides in-depth rankings of degree programs, as well as of colleges and universities." (See www.thebestschools.org/rankings/ for more information.) The recent ranking information listed WIU's curriculum and instruction department as number 15 on the list.
"The faculty members in our department are extremely proud of our master's of science in elementary education [M.S.Ed.] online program. We have taken great care to design it so our students receive the very best instruction possible and experience success in their education careers," said WIU Department of Curriculum and Instruction Chair Anne Gregory. "Students from all over Illinois and Iowa seek our M.S.Ed. degree, so creating a solid online program has been a high priority for us."
TheBestSchools.org states the organization "selected the degree programs based on the quality of the program, types of courses provided, faculty strength, as well as school awards, rankings and reputation, including reputation for excellence in online education."
