And coincidentally, the 2015 Homecoming theme is "Rocky's Road Trip: All Roads Lead to Western," so no matter where Western's alumni and friends land after their time in Macomb, they can always find a way back.

MACOMB, IL -- Western Illinois University alumni and friends .... mark your calendars now for Oct. 2-3, 2015, and plan a road trip to Macomb to take part in WIU's annual Homecoming celebration.

And coincidentally, the 2015 Homecoming theme is "Rocky's Road Trip: All Roads Lead to Western," so no matter where Western's alumni and friends land after their time in Macomb, they can always find a way back.

Homecoming activities begin Thursday, Sept. 24 with "Celebrating Town and Gown," sponsored by the WIU Alumni Association, and continue Friday, Sept. 25 with "Paint the Paws," sponsored by WIU's Student Alumni Association. Other activities include Paint the Town (Sept. 26), Rocky's Boat Regatta and Dec the Campus (Sept. 27), Homecoming Kick-Off and Dec the Office (Sept. 28), Variety Show (Sept. 29), Yell Like Hell (Oct. 1), All-Alumni Social (Oct. 2), Homecoming Fun Run/Walk, Parade, Alumni events at Hanson Field/Q-Lot, and the Leatherneck Football Game (Oct. 3 at 3 p.m.).

WIU Homecoming is sponsored by University Union Board and the Alumni Association.
