Behind the bricks and mortar, there are the people of Western Illinois University and the Macomb community.

---

Who We Are: Shelli and Lisa Jennings. Macomb transplants and WIU alums. We are the proud aunts to six (soon to be 7!) awesome kids, camping and traveling fanatics, and purple-wearing Leathernecks for life.

What We Do:

Lisa: I have worked at WIU since 1998 and currently serve the Associate Director of Athletics/Academic Services and Senior Woman Administrator.

Shelli: I am the principal of Hamilton Jr/Sr HS.

Why We Love WIU: We are both employed in positions gained through our degrees earned at WIU, and Macomb has become our hometown. The University is people-rich. The staff, student-athletes, and their parents become extended family members. The relationships between the campus, community, and local businesses are important and respected. Like many other Leathernecks, we started an endowed scholarship to recognize the leadership efforts of the WIU student-athletes. WIU is not just our University; it's also our responsibility. #W1U
