WIU Mourns Student Death

MACOMB/MOLINE, IL -- The Western Illinois University community is saddened to learn of the death of WIU-Quad Cities graduate student John Banks, 30, of Davenport, IA, who died Oct. 23 in Davenport.
Banks was pursuing a master's degree in health sciences-public health. He received his bachelor's degree in communication from WIU in 2017.
"We extend our deepest condolences to John's family and friends," said Western Illinois University Interim President Martin Abraham.
