James F. Scrivener Obituary

MACOMB, IL – A graveside service for retired Western Illinois University Research and Instruction Consultant James (Jim) F. Scrivener will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 30 at Oakwood Cemetery in Macomb.
Scrivener, 74, passed away Sunday, Jan. 17 at his home in Highland, IL.
He began working at WIU in November 2001 and retired in April 2012. Prior to coming to WIU, he served in the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Air Force for a total of 20 years.
Scrivener is survived by his wife, Lena; one daughter, Penny; and five grandchildren.
