Week Three Schedule for 'Winter Weeks of Welcome

MACOMB, IL – The Western Illinois University Office of Student Engagement (OSE), in conjunction with numerous other campus offices, will host "Winter Weeks of Welcome" for the first four weeks of the Spring 2021 semester.

The goal of the events is to help engage students and help them make meaningful connections.

The schedule for Monday, Feb. 1- Monday, Feb. 8 includes:

• February Campus Rec Challenges - Campus Rec Esports League (FIFA & Madden) - virtual, ends on Feb. 26

Monday, Feb. 1
- 6-7 p.m. - Panhellenic Info Session - virtual
- noon-3 p.m. - University Counseling Center Kinder Monday, in-person at various locations on campus

Tuesday, Feb. 2
- 6-7 p.m. - Fraternity and Sorority Q&A - virtual
- 6-7 p.m. - GBCC Black History Month Keynote Speaker - virtual

Wednesday, Feb. 3
- 7-9 p.m. - UUB Trivia Night - virtual
- 6-7 p.m. - WIU Zoom Social - virtual

Thursday, Feb. 4
- 6-8 p.m. - Veteran's Resource Center Open House - virtual

Friday, Feb. 5
- 8 a.m.-4 p.m. - UUB DIY Grab and Go Kit, in-person at the OSE
- 1-3 p.m. - GBCC Feel Good Friday, in-person at the MCC

Sunday, Feb. 7
- 1 p.m. - Leatherneck women's volleyball game vs. Oral Roberts - virtual

Monday, Feb. 8
- 2 p.m. - Leatherneck women's volleyball game vs. Oral Roberts - virtual
- 8 a.m.-5 p.m. - University Counseling Center Kinder Monday, in-person at the Campus Rec
- 5:30 p.m. - Campus Rec Table Tennis League begins every Monday in-person, at the Campus Rec until March 8
- Campus Rec Fitness Bingo begins - virtual
The project is being coordinated in cooperation with Campus Recreation, the University Union, the Multicultural Center, Athletics, University Housing and Dining Services and Transition and Retention Services.
