Update: Interview Set for WIU Vice President of Finance and Administration

UPDATE:
MACOMB/MOLINE, IL – One candidate for the Western Illinois University Vice President of Finance and Administration position is set for a virtual interview Monday, May 3.
David Wesse, former vice chancellor of financial and administrative affairs for Purdue University, Fort Wayne, IN, will interview May 3. Open sessions with various University constituency/governance groups will be held via Zoom at 3:30 p.m. Registration to attend can be completed at wiu.edu/employment/vice_president_for_finance_and_administration/index.php.
Weese served as vice chancellor of financial and administrative affairs for Purdue University from 2014-2020; vice chancellor of finance and administrative services for Louisiana State University in Alexandria, LA, from 2003-2014; assistant vice president for administration and finance at the University of North Florida in Jacksonville, FL, from 2000-2003; purchasing director for the University of Houston in 2000; was a higher education consultant for KPMG Peat Marwick, LLP from 1997-2000; and was director of general services administration at Northwestern University in Evanston, IL, from 1981-1997.
Weese received his associate degree from South Suburban College in South Holland, IL; his bachelor's degree from Illinois State University, his master's degree from Loyola University of Chicago and his doctoral degree from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, LA.
