WIU to Host Virtual 5k

MOLINE, IL - - Western Illinois University-Quad Cities Student Services will host a virtual 5K run Saturday, April 30. Participants will lace up and hit the road, trail or track for this fun, wellness event.

"This is a great opportunity to stay active and connected to the WIU community," said Student Activities worker Blake Haas. "Participants will be provided with a great sense of accomplishment and be able to share the experience with peers."

To participate in the event, participants can record distance and time on any app, screenshot the run and email it to bc-haas@wiu.edu. All results will be recorded and prizes will be provided to every participant.
