WIU-Macomb Block Party Set for May 4

MACOMB, IL – It's almost the end of another school year at Western Illinois University and that means …. block party time! Stop by the Rocky's Great Leatherneck Campus Block Party on the WIU-Macomb campus Wednesday, May 4 in the campus mall area north of the University Union.
The block party will be held from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. and is open to all members of the WIU community. Hot dogs, chips, soda, Dippin' Dots, Kona Ice, giveaways, prizes, music and more (all at no cost!) will be the perfect break in the middle of what's known as "Dead Week" (week before finals). And if all that wasn't enough, our very own good boy, Ray (Col. Rock IV) will be there for head pats and high fives, and with some new exclusive stickers.
The 2022 Block Party is sponsored by the University Union, Council for Administrative Personnel, the WIU Foundation, Union Advisory Board, College of Fine Arts and Communications, University Housing and Dining Services, Office of Student Engagement, University Union Board and the Office of the Provost.
"Join us as we come together to celebrate the end of the 2021-2022 academic year," said Union Director Ashley Katz. "We all need and deserve a great year-end celebration."
