WIU is Looking for the Voice of Rocky's Play Space at Summer Greet Event

MOLINE, IL – Western Illinois University is looking for the voice of Rocky's Play Space at a summer greet event from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 25 at the Western Illinois University-Quad Cities campus. This event is an effort to hear from children and families in the Quad Cities area as WIU plans to open the Bilingual Early Learning and Family Empowerment Lab Site in Moline soon.

"Children's voices are essential as we plan communities where they live, play and learn," said WIU Director of the Center for Best Practices in Early Childhood Education Lindsay Meeker.

WIU invites children ages 3-7 to participate in an hour full of outdoor games, snacks and active learning and discussion.

The event is capped at 30 participants, so an RSVP is required. For more information or to RSVP, contact Lindsay Meeker at lc-dennison@wiu.edu.
