Student Portraits Available Through PDP

MACOMB/MOLINE, IL-- Western Illinois University Fall 2022 graduates have the opportunity to have a formal studio portrait taken in their graduation cap and gown with a diploma frame at the Photography and Design Production (PDP) studio beginning Thursday, Dec. 8.

Studio times are available from 9-11:45 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 8-Tuesday, Dec. 13 in Tillman Hall, room 207. Each student can sign up for a 15-minute time slot. There is no cost for the photo session; however, high-resolution digital downloads will be available for $10.00 per digital file, and print prices will be in accordance with standard PDP print prices. The images will be delivered in an emailed link from wiu.photoshelter.com. Prints and digital images can be purchased directly from the website.

The PDP staff recommends unwrapping the cap and gown from its packaging and hanging it up at least 24 hours prior to a photo session to ensure the wrinkles in the gown have time to release. It is also recommended that you wear professional attire under your gown because it will show at the top. Please arrive at the session at least 10 minutes prior to your designated time in order to ensure time to put on graduation regalia. A diploma frame will be available in the studio that can be used for photos. Bring a cap and tassel.
