WIU String Festival March 3

MACOMB, IL - The Western Illinois University School of Music will present the WIU String Festival on Friday, March 3 on the WIU Macomb campus and in the College of Fine Arts and Communication (COFAC) Recital Hall.

The WIU String Festival, hosted by Kenny Lee, assistant professor of cello and director of orchestral activities, with guests, the Waubonsie Valley High School Chamber Strings, under the direction of Daryl Silberman. The event will feature rehearsals and sectionals with WIU faculty and students, culminating in a Side-by-Side Concert at 4 p.m. in the COFAC Recital Hall.

The 4 p.m. performance is open free for general audience seating.
